I love getting involved in a new fandom! I haven't felt this strongly about a show since SGA and that's saying something. Flashpoint is making me want to actively seek out spoilers, just like I used to do with SGA, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Slight drawback is that the Flashpoint fandom is MUCH smaller than the SGA fandom, so finding spoilers isn't always easy, but maybe that adds to the thrill when you do manage to find something, like when I found the pics below. They were made a few days ago, while they were filming episode 402. I don't think they're very spoilery but I'm putting them beneath a cut just in case.

So in ep 402 the team seems to be having to deal with riots of some sort, and judging by the pic below (it's a pic of Sergio Di Zio posing with a fan between takes, hence the smile), Spike gets hurt. He has a cut or scratch on his forehead and bruises on the side of his nose and jaw. Now, me being a whumper (h/c fan) and Spike being my favourite character, this has gotten me pretty excited! *g* Of course I don't necessarily want to see him get hurt (goodness knows he's already been put throught the emotional wringer this past season), but I just want to see the team worry/care about him ;o)

Now, in a couple of other pics, we see Spike and Wordy together, like in the pic below. What I'm kind of hoping for is that Spike is attacked by the rioters somehow and that Wordy gets him out. Given the events of Fault Lines, it'd be a great way for Wordy to sort of redeem himself (not that I think he really needs to redeem himself, mind you, but in Spike's or even his own mind he might). I know this is probably not going to happen, and chances are that other members of the team get hurt as well (haven't seen pics of any other cast members, so can't really tell - though Wordy doesn't seem to have a mark on him).

Anyway, I'll pretty much settle for just a "You okay?" directed towards Spike, but a girl can dream, can't she? And so far the show has done an awesome job of showing how much the individual team members care about each other, so I'm holding out hope :o)
