Looking for book recs

As some of you may know, I'm a total H/C junkie and I know you'll never find as much H/C in books as you do in fanfiction, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any non-Stargate related books that contain H/C. See, I've gotten it into my head I should read a little bit less ff and slightly more 'real' books, so I can impress people when we're having a book discussion ;o) It wouldn't do to only be able to sum up fanfic titles if anyone asked me what books I've read recently ;o)

So can anyone rec me any books that contain H/C? I would prefer a male protagonist, but if there's H/C, I won't mind it terribly much if it's a female protagonist.
