I'm really liking how they're giving Spike so many different things to do this season. Me too! I'm hoping we'll get to see him actually talk someone down himself at some point, because I think he's much better at people when there is something he can DO (like with the lady with the necklace bomb) so pure negotiation would be interesting to see.
I liked Marina a lot. I'm almost sure this is being set up for a serious relationship, she's pretty much perfect for him, no? Responsible, good in a crisis, not afraid to tell him to shut up. And also not afraid to hug him on the second meeting. He needs hugs.
Oh, and also, glad they haven't forgottten about Wordy! That bit about the locker made me want to take the whole show home and cuddle it.
